The Resonant Man Summer Weekend🌿
Join us at an English farm from June 20-22 for a weekend of connection.
If you’re receiving consistent value here, we warmly invite you to recommend this publication to help others benefit, or book a discovery call to see if participating in our weekly Resonant Man transformational men’s circle would be aligned for you.
We’re excited to share some news:
We’re holding our first in-person Resonant Man men’s gathering — a solstice weekend camp-out at the beautiful Pitchcott Farm in Buckinghamshire, where Tony Langford, a regular participant in our weekly men’s circles, is creating an incredible haven for nature and people.
Starting on the late afternoon of Friday June 20 and closing on the afternoon of Sunday June 22, the weekend is open to men who:
Feel called into a journey of healing, initiation and evolution
Desire to be deeply attuned to their soul’s purpose and core relationships
Appreciate the value of finding support, camaraderie, insight and humour in the company of other men walking these paths
You don’t have to have been to any of our Resonant Man events or weekly men’s circles to take part, though this will be a relaxed and welcoming opportunity to meet men who have — and enjoy all Pitchcott Farm has to offer.
Pitchcott Farm
Set amid the rolling Buckinghamshire countryside, within easy reach of London, the farm was originally one of the earliest proponents of sustainable, organic and biodynamic farming, which aims to regenerate the health and vitality of soils and the environment, as well as the health and wholeness of communities.
You can read more about Tony’s incredible journey to repurpose Pitchcott Farm into a hub for nature connection and restoration over the past five years at his blog.
The Spirit of the Weekend
We’re approaching this as an opportunity to escape the daily grind and rest, recharge and connect — with an emphasis on co-creation, flow and spontaneity.
We’ll gather around the fire, set devices aside, gaze at the stars, engage in ecstatic outdoor dance and other inner-oriented practices, and get together with some remarkable men to converse and reflect.
To affirm our intention to tune in, connect, and collaborate, this weekend will be alcohol free.
A Co-Created Gathering
While Jacob and I are committed to stewarding this weekend both as facilitators of the Resonant Man, and co-organisers in partnership with Pitchcott Farm, the weekend will only be made possible through the commitment of men like you.
We’re inviting men to bring their own tents — though there are options for bell tents at extra cost.
While we’re planning various activities (see below), if there’s a craft or practice you’d like to offer, we’d love to hear from you.
Likewise, if you have logistical expertise or capacity in areas such as tents, outdoor catering and so on, then your skills would be very welcome.
This is not a high-end retreat we’re selling, but a co-created gathering where we invite all participants to join in the spirit of exploration and adventure.
Who Should Attend?
We invite men of all ages and backgrounds who want to come together for a weekend to connect more deeply with themselves and others. This is a chance to take some time to retreat and recharge outside of the usual daily flow.
We’ll be welcoming as many men from The Resonant Man weekly circle as possible, but see this as a big-tent open gathering. Whether you’ve participated in men’s work before or just want to enjoy a men’s camping weekend, you’re welcome.
We particularly invite those of you who are interested in exploring your own process of initiation — whether it be stepping into fatherhood, eldership or leadership in your life more broadly — in community.
The weekend will also be a great opportunity to connect with the spirit of the land and the powerful collective wisdom that is available among men when we open intentional fields for reflection and sharing.
The Plan
We’ll be renting a 15-acre Meadow within the 150-acre farm with capacity for up to 30 men for the weekend. As such we’ll be seeking a minimum group of seven men but can accommodate considerably more.
We are pricing tickets at £150 to cover our costs. (This includes camping and all activities, but not food, which will be provided via group shops and outside catering).
While we may utilise farm facilities for some special events and activities, this will primarily be a camping weekend and we’ll be cooking in the open air.
There are compost toilets and a hedgerow shower adjacent to the meadow.
Men are encouraged to bring their own tents and camp equipment but bell tents are available at additional cost (please email us to inquire).
