Can Men and Women's Circles Transform Culture in 2025?
A Special Dialogue between The Resonant Man & She Became We.
This Wednesday 5th of February The Resonant Man will be partnering with She Became We, an ever-evolving and ever-expanding collective of women, to explore how the work we do in our respective men and women’s circles can impact wider culture.
The event starts at 19:00 UK (GMT) / 20:00 Berlin / 14:00 New York / 11:00 Los Angeles and lasts 90 minutes. (To register, click here).
Matthew and I will be joined by Melinda Chandler, J’aime Rothbard and Jodi Newhall of She Became We.
The initiative was born out of Melinda’s own sense of aloneness, and in 2020 during the height of isolation as Covid was peaking, she did something audacious — she invited a small group of women to gather. She Became We is an intention-based meditation circle that continues transforming lives as it expands into new circles.
Deeper Participation
Since launching the Resonant Man last summer, we’ve recognised that bringing men and women’s work into dialogue was a crucial evolution for us.
We want to know: What are the ingredients that can make these devoted all-male or all-female circles so potent?
How can the work we do in these circles ripple out into a polarised cultural landscape?
In the session, we will discover how leaning into initiation as men and women, among men and women, can serve our deeper integration and participation in community and in partnership.
We’ll explore specifically the kind of healing, support, and realisation that can only occur through dedicated men’s and women’s spaces, and consider what role they may play in our time of change and emergence.
We are gathering members of The Resonant Man, other men’s circles, and members of She Became We to help us map this terrain. We are also extending this invitation to anyone else with an interest in men’s or women’s work who would like to find out more about our iniatives, and joint the dialouge.
If you’re also curious to explore these questions with us, please do join us.
