thank you for this Matthew Jacob and She Became We -- this podcast was a perfect way of receiving an answer to the inquiry about ....how do we hold and create space? All this while sparking creative ideas to evolve into this new year with! i'll be happy to both join and support you in new friendships that cross the wide blue oceans with love and the feminine masculine divine
This meeting represents is a major crossroads in our understanding of trauma and can be as profound as the recognition of intergenerational trauma. The trauma between men and women is essentially bidirectional and we will not resolve it in either direction without a deeply integrative mutual reckoning. It is also important to consider the dimension of non heterosexual experience if we expect to get past dualistic power politics. Blame when it arises should be carefully reflexive and should be accompanied by pause and emotional honesty. Collective trauma means that we are together in it not apart. Can we heal and bring vitality back to those bonds? I hope that you will allow me to arrend this fascinating and meaningful effort.
I applaud this and wish I could be there. I have tried some similar meetings of men and women and have often met with waves of skepticism and wounded projections. Will this be recorded? I am unable to attend live.
Hi Adam, Glad to hear this. Yes the meeting will be recorded. I understand there are many who to this day are wary to approach this field for a fear of some perceived likely reaction. I'm curious if the responses you received where in response to the idea or actually occurred within the dialogue?
