Is there a reason why you are limiting the resonance to Christian men? I ask as someone aware of and admiring the depth, authenticity and effectiveness of your work

I certainly hope not Eimear, since neither Matthew or I would identify as Christian Men we too would be limited by that :D I thoroughly appreciated you're contribution to our summer program.

The Resonant Man invites men of all stripes committed to showing up authentically in presence and service to their collective evolution. As your comment alludes to, there's A LOT of cultural baggage around Christianity. A large piece of my work intellectually and artistically is to hold space and envision a 'Christianity Beyond Itself'. This includes supporting people to deconstruct limiting beliefs and trauma's produced by religion, as well as fostering a space to imagine and explore an evolution beyond its current form. Personally I am working to bring babies in the bathwater of Christianity brought into a mutually transformative dialogue with plant medicine, philosophy, culture and other wisdom traditions.

While we *are* exclusive about the quality of men who journey with us, we are absolutely not exclusive as to their own spiritual experience or worldview. The notion of Christ Consciousness that I would be interested to explore is one precisely rooted in authentic encounter with the other. A deep not-knowing of one another that allows us to recognise each other's unique divine spark.

The Resonant Man is deeply interested in how to bring soul and our higher selves more fully into the body and there are myriad languages and contexts in which we can land that. Being a student of Jung, I find the christological and alchemical language resonates.

We included exploring Christ Consciousness it specifically alongside 'Shadow Integration' because we see part of it's essence as: bringing awareness and powerful integration to all of those things which have been suppressed and put into shadow (often by Christian Culture itself).

As always these will be offered as open and generative explorations drawing each mans direct experiences.

I deeply appreciate the depth and awareness in your reply, Jacob.

The "Christ Consciousness" stood out from the rest of your invitation because it was naming consciousness associated with a particular religious tradition. I am wondering if there is a way to footnote your explanation given here so that those harmed by or anti Chrisitianity, might find their way to you..
